Dr Jan’s Life Journey as a Chiropractor:

‘Being in practice for so many years has given me the opportunity to see many families and be part of the growth journey of their children 👧 👦. I have looked after kids from the week they were born until they have become young adults. This has brought me unimaginable joy especially when I see these kids walk into my office now and some of them are taller than me. 😊

I have always stressed to parents the importance of Chiropractic care through-out these years and have always encouraged the child from a very young age to have a question for me after every visit. 😃

Sport 🏉 has always been a subject of interest to kids; therefore, I learnt to accommodate their interests and make them realise that what they like is important and matters to me too.  Footy has always been a top discussion!

Kids need to take charge of their health, and they are usually in tune with their bodies. I have seen a 7 year old tell me “I have no pain, but I feel that I need an adjustment” Or a 12 year old tell me,”I’m having problems concentrating, I think I an adjustment might help” or a VCE student telling me, “ I think I need to see you a bit more regular before and during my exams”.

Understanding the function of the nervous system and the benefits that an adjustment provides has been a priority throughout my years in practice and I have transferred this knowledge whenever possible.

The joy that my chiropractic journey has given me has been immeasurable. 😊 Chiropractic has been a great part of my immediate family’s health as well as my extended family and friends.  Nieces and nephews calling over the weekend to find out if I’m coming over for a visit, and their question would be, “can you bring the activator with you? I need an adjustment.”

The answer has always been, “With pleasure”!
