What can you expect at your first visit to Waverley Road Chiropractic and Wellness?
Once you’ve booked your first appointment, you will be sent an SMS 📲 with a link for you to fill out your new patient forms. Please complete this prior to coming in for your initial consultation!
Upon your arrival at the centre you will be welcomed by one of our friendly Chiropractic assistants. 👋 Your chiropractor will then come and greet you and show you into the consultation room.
In your initial consultation a thorough health history 📋 will be taken, once all the questions are finished the examination will begin.
Your chiropractor will assess your spine and nervous system function and get an overall picture of your health and wellbeing. 👍 They will perform postural assessments, range of motion testing, musculoskeletal and neurological assessments.
Depending on your presenting complaint and the findings of the history/examination your chiropractor may refer you for further imaging or investigations.
Once all the information is gathered and your chiropractor has an understanding of your condition, they will know exactly how to help you! Depending on this you may or may not receive your first adjustment during this visit. 😊
