Boosting Immunity with Vitamin C!

The weather is only getting colder lately, and flu season is here! A great way to boost your immunity is to increase your Vitamin C!

Vitamin C 🍊 has many functions within the body, not only does it help to reduce recovery times from colds and flus 🤧, it is also a great anti-oxidant and can even assist in energy production and with iron absorption. 

The recommended daily intake for Vitamin C is 45mg-1000mg per day. However, if you’ve been under the weather and really want to reap the benefits of Vitamin C, then aim for a range of at least 1000mg-5000mg of Vitamin C daily**.

Put into context, you can easily eat 250mg of Vitamin C in a day by eating two kiwifruit 🥝, or eating a cup of capsicum 🫑, and one cup of strawberries 🍓.
