What Can I Expect At Each Visit?

First Consultation (Initial Consultation)

Please allow 30min-45min for your initial chiropractic consultation. During this visit, your Chiropractor will assess your spine, nervous system function and overall health and well being. A health history will be taken and specific postural and musculo-skeletal testings will be performed.  These tests are gentle and non-invasive.  If required, you may be referred for x-rays or other investigations.  Once all the relevant information is gathered, your Chiropractor will have a better understanding and will know exactly how to help you. Depending on your condition you may or may not receive your first adjustment on this visit.

Second Consultation (Report Of Findings)

Please allow 20-30min for your second consultation. During this appointment your Chiropractor will discuss your findings from your first visit and will give you their best recommendation to get you back on track and explain their management plan specific to you. You will begin Chiropractic care during this appointment.

Regular Chiropractic Visits

Once your chiropractor knows your history and creates a care plan for you your regular Chiropractic visits are approximately 10 - 15 minutes. Along with your adjustment, our Chiropractors are trained to provide advice on; stretches, exercises, work ergonomics, correct posture, health and wellness, nutritional guidance and much more.

Re-examination Visits

If you are an existing patient at the centre, but haven't sought care for several months, please allow 15-30 minutes so your Chiropractor can review your health history and assess your body function for any changes. A lot can happen in a year and we want to provide you with the best care possible.

Will I Need X RAYS?

Your Chiropractor will diligently and methodically examine your body and assess if x-rays are required. X-rays help your Chiropractor to have a better understanding of the condition of your spine. It is not always necessary to have x-rays in order to receive chiropractic care.

Is Chiropractic Safe?

Chiropractic is a natural, non-invasive approach to better health. Research suggests that it is 250 times safer than an over the counter anti-inflammatory medication and is suitable for all ages. While Chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no form of healthcare has 100% guaranteed safety. For your peace of mind, our Chiropractors will use clinical skills to assess and examine your body before providing any treatment.
